When you're designing multiple costumes in a single space, it helps to have dedicated work areas, i.e. one spot to collect all the pieces and let the potential develop. Currently, in her house, Erin has a nail station, a hair station, a mask station, and a shoe station all of which changes throughout the year.

"I will focus on a single project as long as I'm inspired. When I get bored or stuck, say I break a needle or run out of thread, I quit. I don't force myself to keep going, if I've lost my momentum. I come back when I'm ready and finish my design with gusto!" -Erin
